Part One: LEOKA (4 hours)
Course: LEOKA Officer Safety Awareness Training (OSAT): The mission of the FBI Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted (LEOKA) Program is to reduce incidents of law enforcement deaths and assaults. This class will include multiple case studies related to 20-years of research.

Instructor: Marcus Young is a Training Instructor for the FBI CJIS Division’s Law LEOKA Program. Marcus is a military veteran and served 20-years in law enforcement. In 2004, President George W. Bush and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger awarded Marcus a Medal of Valor following an officer involved shooting incident. Since 2009, Marcus has presented FBI Programs to more than 24,000 law enforcement and military personnel
